Why this training matters
ISO 9001:2026 keeps the familiar QMS structure but brings clearer expectations across quality culture and ethical behaviour, risks and opportunities, planning of changes, context and climate change, and management review.
This training is designed to help QMS auditors understand the practical meaning of the 2026 changes — and apply them confidently during audits. Not just a clause overview, but a focused guide to how you audit under the new requirements.
The key question is not only "what changed?" but "what should I now check during an audit?"
3FOLD Training · ISO 9001:2026 Update
Clause by clause
Major changes across all main ISO 9001 clauses, from context to improvement.
This training goes beyond explaining what organizations should update. It also focuses on what auditors should check when auditing against ISO 9001:2026.
Audit focus
Evidence focus
Ten modules in clause order, each following the same five-part pattern: what changed, the affected clauses, what it means in practice, what you do about it, and worked sample questions — building up to the final quiz.
Each module opens with a plain 2015-versus-2026 statement and a table showing the type of change: new requirement, restructure, or wording only.
Actions are written separately for QMS implementers and for auditors, so you know exactly what to check or update for that clause.
Two worked sample questions close every module. The 20-question final quiz needs 80% (16/20) to pass, with unlimited attempts.
After the training
Participants get 180 days of access to the 3FOLD LMS at 3foldlearn.com to work through the ten modules at their own pace, then sit a final quiz — 20 multiple-choice questions drawn from a larger bank, needing 80% (16/20) to pass. Attempts are unlimited and the highest grade counts.
Participants who complete the ten modules and pass the final quiz receive a Certificate of Completion from 3FOLD Training (PDF, issued immediately) — stating the course title, standard edition, and duration, for use as CPD evidence and as a record for your employer or certification body.
Important information
This training is independently delivered by 3FOLD Training to support auditors in understanding the ISO 9001:2026 changes. CQI and IRCA do not offer a separate certified transition course for this update; however, ATPs may provide update training for CPD purposes. Participants will receive a 3FOLD Certificate of Completion, without the CQI and IRCA Certified Course logo.
The training includes comprehensive learning materials that explain the key differences between ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 9001:2026. 3FOLD Training does not provide the official ISO 9001:2026 standard. Learners who require the official standard should obtain it separately from an authorised source. A copy of the 2026 standard is not required to attend this training.

ISO/FDIS 9001:2026 was issued in 2026, with the final standard published later in the year. Based on previous revisions, IAF is expected to set a three-year transition period from publication. Certificates to ISO 9001:2015 remain valid until the end of that period — confirm the exact deadline with your certification body once IAF publishes its arrangements.
